Tips to Raise Happy Children

For young children aged 1-3 years, this is a very ‘fun’ phase of growth. In English, this age we call toddler, comes from the word toddle which means walking which is still not very balanced. The fun thing for boys this age, we can see how fast they grow.

1. Make Your Child’s Meal Time An Easy And Enjoyable Time.

What we always see and we hear is the noisy parents of children who do not want to eat this. Saturated with compulsion just squeaked a little. Don’t do that, parents! Indeed, we want children to eat nutritious food, but there is no need to force and make this rule. In addition, if the child is overweight, do not restrict his diet, instead a family should pay attention and create a healthy eating culture. As long as the food choices are ok and look best in their eyes, just let the children choose what they want to eat. Choose good Baby feeding bottles for your child.

2. Praise The Child’s Good Behavior.

Haa .. this one is important! Don’t be constantly reprimanded and angry when your child behaves. Instead, praise when a child behaves well! Positive reinforcement is very very important in building a good relationship between parents and children and also to educate children to continue to be good. Praise that must be voiced, and even better if it can be hugged and kissed once. That’s just right!

3. Take Care Of Your Child’s Teeth.

This is the time to teach children to brush their teeth in the morning and at night, gargle after eating and get them used to seeing the dentist. At this difficult middle age, children are happy to have tooth cavities (damaged and hollow teeth) and their teeth are easily pulled out. The roots of a child’s milk teeth are the pathway to the next permanent teeth, so take good care of them! Later, when I grew up, I had to wear false teeth because when I was a child, I didn’t take good care of my teeth, all of them were hollow and damaged.

4. Set The Child’s Bedtime

A child’s sleep time is when his body rests and produces hormones to grow. So, if you and your husband are both tall but the little boy is cute, that’s a sign that he’s not getting enough sleep! (or not enough nutrients). We need to set a regular bedtime, but give relaxation plus minus 30 minutes. Regular bedtime helps calm children and makes it easier for them to fall asleep.

5. Don’t Be Too Strict With Yourself

No one is perfect, and no one is always right. Just as we give space for children to grow and learn from mistakes, we also need to give space to ourselves as well. So parenting is a job that no one denies it is difficult and very demanding of one’s time, soul and body! If you are tired and need to time out, celebrate yourself, by all means do it. To raise healthy and happy children, the mother and father must be healthy and happy first!
